WebFurnace Creek Group Campsites. Furnace Creek Campground includes 5 group, tents-only campsites. Three of the sites can accommodate up to 15 people and up to 3 vehicles. The other 2 campsites can accommodate up to 40 people and 10 vehicles. No campervans, RVs or pop-up tents are allowed. Only Site #5 allows the use of generators. WebThis campground is basically a large parking lot in the desert. The only reason that it gets a high rating is because it is in beautiful Death Valley National Park. It is just across the street from Furnace Creek campground, which is a little nicer with some trees and picnic tables at each site. Sunset does not take reservations.
