I have an earlier one on my '72 El Camino and it has a molded surface texture like a vinyl top - even has molded seams just like a real vinyl top. That is fine since the '72 has a vinyl top. I wanted that one it was a little nicer however they quit selling it so I got the Gaylord Lid. I am not unhappy with its quality. The other was a bit more specific for the truck.
