I will say I have not tried the KH3 Re:Mind bosses so maybe they are better, but I've never been hooked by higher difficulty KH gameplay, but that's probably on me.

If you read/watch the entire series, it flows well and nothing will necessarily jump out at you beyond a well crafted narrative.
