NettetRuiner is a good linear game. It's an isometric "dual stick" arena action shooter/beat-em-up. Fun, fast, hard gameplay. There is a 'skill tree' for various powers, but basically you just have points you can put into different skills and powers and respec them any time you want, it's not deep or anything.
