I think the limit at Nationwide is £50K but the maximum transaction amount is £10k so to transfer £50K you would need to do 5 transfers, a bit of hassle but at least you can do it. WebTap Pay. They told me the only way to do it is for multiple amount of £2000 but with say £50k you will have to set up 25 separate NS&I saving accounts!
